At Krzak Rundio Gorman, Injury Attorneys, we’re dedicated to giving back to our community. We’ve recently made donations to organizations we support, and who we believe are doing great work at helping our community improve together.
We donated $1,000 to United Community Cares Association of Elmhurst (UCCA). UCCA of Elmhurst provides food, referrals, and services to children and families in need in Elmhurst’s District 205. One of the main goals is to support financially disadvantaged children and their families by fighting hunger.
One of the most important aspects of UCCA of Elmhurst is that 98 percent of donations and funds collected by the organization are funneled directly into feeding community members in need. This means that any monetary or other donations will be used to actually support the people who need it most. We’re proud that our donation goes directly to those in need.
We also made a $5,000 donation to HighSight in Chicago. HighSight is an organization that provides help for students from low-income families in their high school and college careers to ensure they have a better experience and have more opportunities that they otherwise might not have.
Through scholarships, tutoring, mentoring, leadership development programs, and college readiness programs, HighSight supports Chicago students in private high schools and into selective colleges across America so they have the best possible chance at advancing their futures and being successful.
