Giving Back

The personal injury lawyers at Krzak Rundio Gorman, Injury Attorneys are dedicated to giving back to the local community of Chicago in as many ways as possible. One way we do that is by taking part in non-profit organizations and events that lend the community strength and support.

Here are just some of the organizations our lawyers actively take part in and support:

Illinois Lawyers Assistance Program

Mike Krzak is an Associate Board Member of the Illinois Lawyers Assistance Program, a not-for-profit entity which provides confidential and no cost substance use and mental health services to Illinois Judges, lawyers, and law students.

Cycle For Survival

Mike Krzak is the Team leader of Emma’s Eight, a team for Cycle for Survival, an indoor cycling organization and movement to beat rare cancers. The organization’s high-energy indoor team cycling events provide a tangible way to fight rare cancer. 100% of all donations from the events fund research led by Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.

SurvivorVision

Mike Krzak is a former Board Member and current volunteer for SurvivorVision, a not-for-profit entity which provides a network of support to survivors of pediatric cancer through advocacy and support groups in the community, funding to support research initiatives, and education programs and access to resources that enhances survivors’ quality of life while minimizing cancer’s long-term effects.

The group empowers survivors of childhood cancer by raising awareness as advocates on policy issues and through the funding of follow-up studies, support services, development and distribution of educational resources, and continued research on the long-term effects of cancer treatment.

Our Lady of Mercy Church

Matthew Rundio provides pro bono legal services to parishioners at Our Lady of Mercy Church on the north side of Chicago. He provides these services through the St. Clement Legal Aid Society and Chicago Volunteer Legal Society, organizations he has been an active member of for more than 7 years. During this time, he has represented numerous economically challenged individuals in legal matters on a pro bono basis. He was awarded the Chicago Volunteer Legal Services Special Services Award in 2013 for his pro bono legal work.
